IncenseHub is an independent knowledge platform for Chinese incense. This page lists the reasons to contact us — editorial corrections, sourcing questions, and privacy requests.
Why people contact us
Most messages fall into one of two groups:
- Editorial — corrections and sourcing questions. If you spot an error, a mis-cited source, a broken link, or a claim you can correct from a primary source, tell us the page and the specific sentence. Corrections are handled through the process on our editorial methodology page.
- Privacy and rights requests. Access, correction, or deletion requests under data-protection law, or questions about a legal page, are handled through the same address — see the privacy policy for your rights.

[email protected] Editorial corrections
To report an error, write with the subject "Correction" and tell us the page URL and the specific sentence. We correct errors at their source, update the page's review date, and — where a dataset is involved — log the change. We do not silently rewrite, and we do not delete retired entities.
A note on what a correction is not: we do not revise content because it is unfavourable, and we do not remove a correctly sourced entry at a third party's request. A correction is a factual fix — an error, a mis-citation, or a genuinely outdated statement.
What this channel handles
Messages about the reference material, editorial corrections, privacy requests, and permissions:
- Editorial corrections and sourcing questions — the page URL and the specific sentence help most.
- Privacy and rights requests under data-protection law.
- Permission and licensing questions about the reference material and datasets.
- Questions about a specific page, dataset, or citation.
For medical questions, consult a qualified professional; this site is informational and educational — see the disclaimer.
